TruDealers Moto · field guide

Run a bike dealership from one system.

Pay per use with credits. No rent. No contract. 1 credit = R1.

How independent motorcycle dealers use TruDealers: shoot a 14-angle photo set, run a 6-phase bike inspection with a 2-tyre check, and take trade-ins from your own website.

Step 01

Set TruDealers up for bikes

TruDealers recognises motorcycle makes such as Harley-Davidson, BMW Motorrad, Ducati, KTM, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Triumph. When your dealership profile is set to moto:

  • TruLens switches to the 14-angle motorcycle photo set.
  • TruInspect loads the 6-phase motorcycle inspection with a 2-tyre check.
  • Your website widgets switch to "Book a test ride" and motorcycle trade-in mode.
Step 02

The 14-angle photo set (TruLens)

TruLens walks your yard staff around the bike in under 3 minutes, with clean framing guides:

  • Front 3/4, left and right: full stance and headlight cluster.
  • Full profiles, left and right: stance, fairings and ground clearance.
  • Front wheel, brake and fork: disc wear, calipers and fork seals.
  • Cockpit and handlebars: mirrors, switchgear, levers and grips.
  • Odometer: the instrument cluster showing the current reading.
  • Fuel tank and controls: tank paint, fuel cap and steering damper.
  • Engine casings, left and right: alternator and clutch covers, drop scuffs.
  • Exhaust: headers, heat shields and silencer.
  • Rear wheel, chain and sprocket: chain slack, sprocket wear and rear tread.
  • Tail and plate: rear light, tail tidy and licence plate.
  • VIN plate: the VIN stamped on the frame neck.
Step 03

6-phase bike inspection (TruInspect)

Record the condition before delivery with a signed digital condition report, so you are covered if there is a Consumer Protection Act dispute later:

  • Phase 1, frame and controls: steering head bearings, fork alignment and frame.
  • Phase 2, engine and drivetrain: cold start, oil level, clutch and coolant.
  • Phase 3, wheels and suspension: front and rear tread depth (mm), fork seals and rear shock.
  • Phase 4, electrics and lights: headlamp high and low, indicators, brake light and horn.
  • Phase 5, cosmetics and exhaust: drop scuffs, exhaust baffles and paint chips.
  • Phase 6, road test: gear changes, pull and ABS braking feel.
Step 04

Bike values and trade-ins

When you value a trade-in, TruDealers pulls trade and retail values for the bike right inside the system. Valuations use credits, and you see the price on the button before you tap. Buyers can also value their current bike on your website with the trade-in widget, and the lead lands straight in TruFlow.
